If I owned a track?

Speed be damned!
I would try to maintain a more forgiving cushion.
No more rock hard speedway.
If you want a fast record, go elsewhere.
Let's try and save some knees,pastern, and sesamoid bones.

I would only turn on the teletimer for qua races.
Qua time?  A flat mile in 2:10

For the benefit of the come from behind horse.
Back to the old style bikes.
No more 15 lenghts back at the quarter.

You most warm up a mile in 2:40 or faster.

I did what I do win his first start with me in the basement. Two starts later beat the 10s. Eric Warner needs him to fill the Open, my owner was already building his paddock to retire him.
