How's this for some shit luck, had the superfecta in the 7th race at the Meadows on Saturday, 21-1 Ship Ship Hooray on top. I immediately checked to see how much was in the pool, I almost sh*t when I saw $266. I thought it must be a mistake. Had the only winning ticket in the country, 21-1 shot on top and win $181.50. Tracks should have to have minimum pools.

This is another example of how Harness Racing and especially Plop are totally messed up.  It was the PENTAFECTA and not the Superfecta with this payout (see results below).  Not only did the O/P get it wrong but 15 replies and nobody corrected it.

The pools: Trifecta $9,446, Superfecta $6,254 and Pentafecta $226 (not $266 as in the original post).

Assuming you had a 50 cent Pentafecta (paying $181), by my calculations you would have collected approx. $283 on the Trifecta and $755 on the Superfecta.  As you can see, the Superfecta was the best payout by far.

$2.00 Trifecta         4-3-7       $1134
$0.20 Superfecta   4-3-7-5    $302
$0.50 Pentafecta   4-3-7-5-9 $181
