Actually Kirby has been on this forum for many years and probably has more knowledge of the Delaware circuit than 99 % of the posters on here. He knows whats going on at Dover/Harrington, but I actually think Stafford was making a good second move considering the odds, horse just had nothing.

Turn a guy loose so you can retake, Oops the guy sitting 3rd beats me off the rail because he knows what I'm going to do, and the guy on the front turns him loose. That was supposed to be me retaking. So, I'm pissed because he just screwed up my retake and now, I'll just pull instead of waiting until someone comes or atleast the stretch and run down the horse on top knowing damn well he's not turning me loose. Now my odds on favorite is out the entire mile and i wind up backing thru the field...and there's nothing wrong with that drive? Please tell me what he did right?

I get exactly what you are saying, either way though he had NO horse today. You are talking about a minute flat back half and the horse collapses. He was going nowhere sitting third and also gets nothing. Used to the quarter and in no mans land, he took a second shot, will be another race and another day. Have seen FAR FAR WORSE.
