Ray-may not be a tough guy-but he reacts like a MF when he is getting screwed. He once dragged Steve Starr -race secretary at Yonkers across his desk-because Starr screwed with the draw. Ray never got kicked out of Yonkers for that action-so I assume Ray was right to scare the shit out of Starr.

Off the subject somewhat bit when talking about the old tough guy generation I think of a guy like Carl Allen.  I’m sure there are others but that guy in his day could back up his temper and actions.  Who was the driver he reached over and smacked in the face with his whip during a race?

Ray is usually the shit starter, then crys poor me when the situation is questioned , if he's hanging out with Ford he is just as much a pos, do some research into him and I'm sure you'll see it's not all roses and butterflies. Both are in it for greed not for the horses.
