Charlie May meadowlands pace DQ
« on: February 10, 2023, 03:01:09 PM »
read a article that said that in court the decision was over turned. Be interesting to see what the NJRC will do

I will be surprised if the NJRC goes against their initial ruling.

I thought it was a tough/bad call. But I doubt they will go against their initial decision. But that leads to another question of  if they don't over turn what's the point in ever taking the extra steps of fighting them

You're finally learning, they don't overturn, and never say they were wrong.

Worst call ever in a big $$$ race..

We all know CHARLIE MAY should've been the winner from the start.  And you probably didn't know it's all Mark Ford's fault according to SCM!  ngc3  What a nut!

  • MTP1972: Back at Garden State Harness I hit an $11,000 trifecta for a $1 on a horse, Speedy Wright, driven by Mark Kesmodel paid $11 to win. The exacta paid $60 but a real bomb finished 3rd. Unforunately at that time if your winnings were over $5000 they automatically took out 28% + another 3% for NJ State Tax leaving me with only $3800 from a $5500 ticket.

  • Trigger: On 9/14/91 Yonkers Race 6 I bet a pick 4, put $80 in.  I used like 6 in the first leg, like a perceived dummy as 1/5 shot won.  I hit it and it paid @$9k.  The storyis in the trivia thread here.  Not my biggest score ever, but craziest for sure.

  • MTP1972: I have alot of strategies and theories on multi-race wager s but rarely play them because I hate investing alot and getting knocked out in the 1st leg. I used to play alot of Pick 3's at Meadowlands years ago by beating a heavy favorite in the 1st leg.

  • Trigger: We could take down a track if we worked together, otherwise that's out.  My biggest issue last yr was virtual stable laziness.  You leave a horse like Meshuggah in becaus his drives were fucked.  But I left too many in and didn't refresh that much once built.

  • MTP1972: I see so many of these so called experts on FanDuel posting their Pick 5 tickets including several odds on favorites and a bunch of 2nd and 3rd choices. In my opinion, they're just wasting space or bragging when hit a $150 Pick5 in a $60 ticket.

  • MTP1972: In any Pick 4 or Pick 5, if there's a heavy favorite in the 1st leg you think is beatable that's what I'm looking for. I can't see singling a 1-5 in the 1st leg because eveybody is alive. I'm looking to beat that horse if I can.
