"It’s going to be a late night to be wagering on our card,” said Chief Operating Officer and General Manager Jason Settlemoir. “Our race office has done a tremendous job of writing competitive races, Yonkers, Chester and Pocono are closed, and when you have carryovers with large competitive fields like we have Saturday, it creates a lot of excitement for our fan base and we plan on delaying the post times as long as we can.”

I believe the time off makes handicapping hard. Whose horses are ready. It has nothing to do with competitive fields. On a normal night the race sec. starts the p4 with a short field. The race is one of the features & usually the favorites are live. It makes the p4 a p3 on many occasions. The Meadowlands lucked out that they are all 10 horse fields. JMVHO
