agreed re the online sales
a live stand alone mixed sale is not really worth it
shipping horses, spending a day at the sale etc
harrisburg makes sense to have one as everyone is there and timing is right
other than that online sales do a good job filling the gap

On line sales take about 4 or 5 percent

Harrisburg and bigm sales about 14 percent take out with all the bullshit charges

Do the math

People are starting to realize Fck them

On gait and preferred better options

Exactly, you don't have to wait for sales anymore.  Can get rid of them in less than a week now.

predictable
as stated earlier there is no need for it and i dont suspect we will ever hear it mentioned again
preferred did the right strategy in introducing online sales to combat ongait and in effect killed their own mixed sale but in the long run they are much better off as are most

Question:

When buying a horse through online autions, is it standard practice to buy the horse unseen, or is the sale generally subject to inspection/bloodwork?

Generally unseen unless the horse is local.Watch replays, and hopefully you know someone who sees the horse daily, in person.
