Tired of always hearing about the trainers getting slammed for everything. Do people like Dowse deserve it? Yes of course but from everything I hear dowse had help on the inside too. People in race office, stewards and racing officials all in on it with him. What about some of these drivers who are helping with the stiffs at low odds and then come back in a few weeks and knowingly drive different when the load is in?  Get the trainers FBI but they ain’t doing all of it by themselves. Lock up some of the employees at these cheating tracks too.

i was reading an article released today by a veteran horseman .. here's a little piece of what he wrote.
"I am hearing through my sources here in Washington that another round of arrests are not far away. These would have happened sooner if not for COVID and its aftereffects. As the FBI has stated, this investigation has never been closed. It is an on-going investigation. As stated above, we communicate with HISA and try to work in the best interests of our sport.”

Freddie has been an advocate for an organization such as HISA for some time. He has been in DC long enough to know what the lawmakers and lobbyist, such as himself are pitching. For my money, if Freddie said it, take it to the bank.

I hope that there are more arrests. I have lost faith as so much time has passed.

My relative is a criminal investigator for NYS.. Investigations take time , they don't want a case to be weak and fall apart.. Federal investigations are no different.. they want these indictments to be rock solid, no different when the feds took years b4 they connected all the dots and indicted all the mafia heads back in the 1980s in nyc .. if there's a case it'll happen be rest assured.. Plus it's fun to watch the fuckers who know tgey are on the fed's radar to squirm and start ratting on their fellow thieves .

not shocked by trainers cheating to get an edge, even at the expense of the equine atheletes.

BUt i'll be real pissed...REAL PISSED...if it turns our racing officials and judges-----the guys that are charged with the responsibility to protect the betting public and owners to keep things on the up and up and the playing field level---are in on the curruption. Post draws? Brown paper bags?
Doesnt anybody give a crap?

As it is, the lack of transparency in post position draws and claims for example, suggests that there is  something to hide.

i cant wait for the next set of fed indictments.
and next weeks USTA FAS from PA

Track GM’s , Race Secretary’s and the horsemen and horsewomen who benefited from the corruption.

Poconos
Red Mile
Scioto
What is the USTA going to say when it comes out how the computerized draw was so easy to manipulate. The Feds have had multiple servers set up to record the draws and when the data is compared, what are the track officials going to say?

Yes -I heard from a trainer that the race secretary at Yonkers used to WORK for/with Josh Marks in Florida--and they are close. Explains a lot. AS has been posted on here multiple times-and Ive read it--Marks behind the Dowse stable even when in rehab or in Canada or wherever--constantly on the phone with trainers and drivers--that cant be good. Marks may be a nice guy--but seems he is toxic. If the Feds have tapes on these conversations--new round of indictments not far behind.??

Well you’re gonna be pissed because Yonkers is full of criminals in the racing office and judges who now decided to  disqualify a horse who goes too slow of a quarter. Wtf is that all about? To make matters worse, they won’t refund the betting public’s money either or declare the race as a non betting race. They have zero integrity at Yonkers and from the horsemen right on down to the racing office and judges, everyone is on the take. Can’t wait for the FEDs to shut the shithole down once and for all.

That welfare money the horsemen get would be better used if it were given to Mike.   Chrome rims for his shopping cart and unlimited feed for his rescues.   In all seriousness, Yonkers purses are ridiculous.  Those greedy fucks will do anything and everything to get that money.  With no regard for the horses' welfare.

I WONDER IF THERE WAS A WAY FOR THE TRACKS TO LOWER THE PURSES?? I THINK YOURE RIGHT, THE MONEY AT YONKERS IS SO HIGH THAT THEY WILL DO ANYTHING TO CHEAT. SO LOWER THE PURSES AND BELIEVE ME, WHAT ARE THE HORSEMEN GONNA DO? SUE THEM OR TRY TO SHUT THEM DOWN? HOW LONG DO YOU THINK THE STATE OF NEW YORK IS GOING TO SHUT THEM DOWN AND NOT ALLOW FOR THAT CASINO TO PAY TAXES? NEW YORK STATE WOULDN'T CLOSE THEM DOWN FOR A DAY OR TWO IF THEY SHOWED THEM THE FEDERAL INVESTIGATIONS AND THE HORSEMENS BACKGROUND CHECK.

Since it is heavy who summon ed the FBI in the first place he should be the first one questioned as to why he chose certain names to be checked into

I’ve actually heard mike Petrelli’s name is on round two list of indictments. He’s squealing worse than Ricky Dane. He will be pushing that same shopping cart with good trays in club Fed.
