What is TRUROO?
« on: October 23, 2022, 12:32:38 PM »
They just handled $1,300 on a $20,000 purse race?

Can anyone just go and race there?

Are those Hong Kong dollars?

 Andrew,

u wouldn't be well liked there, like most tracks im sure
We don't need to race, we do it for the love of horses & because we can. Great game if you have the means.
*3 y.o colt & filly have been top3 in their sire stake
*The 2 y.o's have shown a ton of talent & 1 just missed a sire stake win

Very fast track, good horseman, unfortunately like other tracks, it will be dead in a few years. The vast majority of horseman, fans & breeders realize losing smaller tracks has a huge negative impact overall to the game. Unfortunately, more and more tracks are teetering on the edge , decoupling will decimate other states tracks soon enough as well.

The glory days of harness racing is in the past. Gone are the days of huge crowds, full fields, looking to have a “Saturday night horse” combined with the younger generation being addicted to games & having the brain capacity not vast enough to fill a thimble, leaving the game on the ropes….

This was a great little track at one time. Nice little town, close to Halifax which is a fun city. Lots of great horses and horseman came from this area. They defiantly punch above their weight.  Used to get pretty big crowds.

tmbz1 tmbz1 tmbz1 I have vacationed in Nova Scotia and loved it. Truro was nice but Halifax blew me away with the nightlife.
