They may not know " what's going on" but i see the Walkak Brothers at Yonkers now have horses with Garreth Dowse & Scotty D.. They were with Fusco, Richard Johnson, Daniel Renaud etc.. They always seem to be with the winning trainers.. Let's face it when ur investing $100's of thousands to millions as an owner who are you gonna use? especially if ur in the claiming game

It only takes a few trainers like Rick Dane to roll on the owners like he did the other horsemen and bam we can start seeing the owners going down with the rest of the scum. In Chicago owners like Engle knew about juicing for years. When Rucker threatened to take him to the stewards because he owed huge training bills then Engle said go ahead and I’ll turn you and vet Joe Boliga in for using EPO on my horses. 100% truth. That’s how Marty E got away with not paying Rucker over 200,000$ in training bills.

perhaps, the trainers would need to have some hard evidence that owners instructed them to use peds
also if an owner is using a trainer whose record is clean why would they be accountable for the trainers actions
the owners could clearly say they had no reason to believe the trainer was using peds
its  not like on the training bill it has a line item stating 'peds " $3,000
many of the big time owners never go to the barn so again they can easily show they had no way of knowing

to be clear i am not talking about owners using trainers with a clouded documented past

how as owners would they have any idea what goes on (if anything) in barns they rarely if ever visit

Come on bro. Do you actually think these big time in owners don’t acftually know? How do you think they got big money to begin with. Surely it wasn’t because they made investments and then didn’t pay any attention of where their money was invested. There is no way you’ll ever convince me that these owners don’t know or at the very least suspect what is going on. Even a guy with a clean past and very naive owners, doesn’t he at least go to the track to watch his horses race? If he does, then he has to if heard other people around him talking about what goes on or what’s happening on the backstretch. Would an owner be that far out of touch that he never heard of other trainers or participants using drugs? Ain’t no way someone has big money and don’t pay attention to their investments. I started this topic not to say they know the exact substance going in, but that they know that trainer has some type of edge and is most likely illegal.  That is criminal behavior by knowingly looking the other way.  Just look at the same band of criminals that just flock to the next bigtime trainer.  Brand new trainers all of a sudden have 30 head in the barn?  Get the fuck out of here.  And what Yonkers allowed with MSPACC stepping in for Alexander should have called for a full boycott from other trainers.  Guy had an unreal percentage and then is gone when suspension was up?  New name down, same shit going in the horses.  Fuck Yonkers and fuck harness racing.  Can't wait until welfare purses go away.  It won't take but a few more FUND SCHOOLS rallies to open some eyes.
