atlas hanover cost $88k, just fact
no issue with other comments

the jug is clearly not what it used to be , blame stronger sires stakes programs that race for more and trainers dont have to run 2 heats( or 3 as in the past) , even though inferior horses for 50 years did it just fine

harness racing needs more 'events" like the jug, anything related to harness racing that can draw 42,000 fans needs to be supported and improved
any idea how many were at events such as the hambo, meadowlands pace, how about the upcoming mohawk million card and breeders crown, those 4 wont add to how many were at the jug yesterday

Burke wins 7 today.  The man is a legend and made of teflon!

The week belonged to the hometown kid, Chris Page.  Topped off by a perfect drive in The Jug.  Is it finally time to acknowledge talent and give Page some props ?

It's like the Quarter Back that manages the game and doesn't force anything or make any mistakes that can hurt his team.  ;D
