« on: September 03, 2022, 09:21:26 AM »
home to visit windor fair the second largest in maine. will be a great time. it would have been much better if the race dept cared enough to send in the program info so trackmaster would have. its nice to drink my coffee and handicap. programs were available there all week. i guess no one wants to go on the weekend. well leaving now so i can buy a track program and study with some fried dough.

how by state law can you refund the early double. tote failure or not. they paid all other bets both races. yes i had it. was 44 last flash before the 1st. tote companies all have insurance for that very reason. sad state of racing in my home state. not sure if i want to go back. that was one of only many problems today.

Purposely keeping wolverina and pembroke legacy out of the same race for the whole summer is outrageous. If i had a 3 year filly i would be more than pissed.

The bet has been way down, beer tent occupying space, the grand old fair ain’t what it used to be…

with all due respect to the Maine circuit....

how can you bet these races?

you make a $10 win bet the horse goes off 3/5 or less

now i can understand attending the fair atmosphere and having a cold beer, but seriously?

THEN WHY RACE AT ALL? OH, ITS THE HORSEMEN MONEY WHETHER THE PUBLIC FINDS IT WORTH THEIR MONEY OR NOT

THAT IS A HUGE PROBLEM WITH THE INDUSTRY. TOO MANY TRACKS, NOT ENUFF OF THE WAGERING PUBLIC BECAUSE THE HORSE CHEATED THEM ELSEWHERE
