Casey is back!
« on: April 23, 2022, 06:29:28 PM »
Two wins today at Cumby.  Destroyed the field on front end, drawing off by 10 lengths and a ground saving rail trip to close and win in a photo.  Will certainly make Maine racing more exciting if he returns to some form of the Glory Days. tmbz1 tmbz1

He needs to get in shape and lose at least 50 lbs.

He drove last year and didn't offer much at all. The Ginsu king isn't sharp anymore.

I think if ur a Case fan you can just be happy that he’s racing again and whatever  he accomplishes from here on forward is just a feather in his cap.. It almost doesn’t seem fair to him to try and keep hoping he’s gonna achieve the same greatness as almost 40 years ago.. it would be wonderful if he did but it sorta reminds me of when Willie Mays got traded to the NY Mets at the end of his career and we were all hoping he’d be the same Say Hey kid from the 1950’s & 60’s ..Willie hit a few homers but his time had passed.. It was still cool to see him play in NY again though..

New York has been thee place for superstars way past their prime for decades. Mark Messier is probably the ONLY exception.  11.wp

Look at Herve. There are a ton like him, ya can't go back to the glory days. Just hope Casey is enjoying the summer, Cumberland is a far cry from Yonkers etc.
