This is a joke.  They spent a bunch of money to redo the track.  Horsemen all ship in, lasix given, then cancel?  Shut it down if they can’t run it better than this.

What is the real reason Yonkers can't keep the track up and running?  Tracks in cold weather states seem to be keeping their tracks open. What's the difference between Monticello, Northfield Park, The Meadows, Miami Valley Raceway, The Meadowlands, compared to Yonkers ?  Why can't Yonkers race tonight and the others are racing today and tonight ?? I don't understand.

          Mr Dadoyan you’re the director of racing at Yonkers raceway.   It’s obvious that there’s a major problem with the track surface at Yonkers.  Before any horses or drivers suffer a bad injury or worse , it’s seems obvious that Yonkers racing surface needs to be totally resurfaced.    Racing conditions are not safe at Yonkers , it’s that simple.

Since MGM took it over they don't care about the horses anymore at all.There too much money involved now with sports betting and wanting a full blown casino.You talking billions of dollars in NY market the only thing they want to do to the track is make it a stadium so they can have concerts and other crap there.

And, this is news? Everyone knows the days of Yonkers hosting live racing are numbered. A couple weeks from now, all will be good and back to normal at Yonkers. That is until the state awards MGM Yonkers a full casino license.
 Oh, there is that bill in this Legislative session looking to claw back the slot revenue. Looks like it is gaining traction.

Joe Faraldo is a moron double agent idiot who cannot be humbled.  He bragged about overseeing the track work with Jimmy Marohn as a consultant despite the fact that Jimmy Marohn has no credentials in road construction or engineering. Faraldo made the horsemen think he was out for their interests.  The truth is that he is out for himself and he will stoop to any low to stay connected to MGM but making the horsemen think he is for them.  Eventually MGM s going to say "Get the fuck out and take Faraldo with you cause racing  is over".  Faraldo will then figure out a way to make money off of that.  In my opinion, MGM despises Faraldo and they take it out on the racing end of their empire.  Get rid of Faraldo and maybe the track will be fixed.  My best suggestion is that the track gets shut down totally.  The entire industry is a humiliation now anyway.
