Ohio passes Sports Betting

Listened to a radio interview of one of the bill writers, Bill Seitz.

He said it was a well done bill because the taxed money isn't going to be carved up a hundred different ways.

2% to helping with problem gambling
.5% to help veterans
97.5% for education.

And it sounds like in addition to online sports betting, that even bars will be able to have up to two stand alone machines that will offer traditional bets including spreads, over/under, and up to 4 team parlays... No prop bets.

Sounds like it will be everywhere.

Saw a interesting stat about the national average per bet with the outpouring of sports wagering options. Per ESPN the amount average is only $4 per wager. No typo only FOUR DOLLARS! I would have guessed 10 or 15.

Fyi  - my opinion from using several different platforms (Fan duel, draft kings, ceasars and rivers) daily in ny state is draft kings has the best promotions but a slow crappy platform.  Fan duel would be ranked second by me. Caesars i dont trust. And last i checked bet rivers was offering inflated odds - 112 to 100. So i use draft kings.

Some advice to fellow gamblers, stay away from parlays  as much as you can and only cash out during a game if is markedly advantageous to you. Those cash out odds really are weighted for the casino.

Not sure if ur experience in Ohio will be similar to mine.

Looking like another category bit the dust here! Ironic that it went dead at the sports wagering became legal. I imagine that being a  bookie isn't what it used to be either. ANOTHER DEAD GAME LADDIES!
