Question for Lukpark

Passing through Chicago next month on our way back to NY.. Wifey wants to go shopping at that magnificent mile .. what’s a good Italian restaurant in that area for dinner? No Olive Garden please ( although I do like it).

My fav Italian restaurant is

Rosebud on Taylor street

We going there tonite. Celebrating Lucs birthday tonight  tmbz1

You can also try my family’s restaurant.

Francos. Or franconellos. Both really good

Both my  cousins places  tmbz1

On a sidenote Olive Garden is processed food don’t eat that crap that crap is garbage you never know where comes from Olive Garden don’t ever get an Olive Garden or talk to me about eating at Olive Garden that place is for tourists and European to come here and pretend to be American’s

I used to love Olive Garden until they took away my peppers and sausage dishes.

I have to go to a real Italian restaurant to get peppers and sausage dishes now.

But how can you not love their breadsticks? angbk

Don't overlook Carmines a couple of blocks further north on Rush.  There's a big outdoor seating area.  I think there food is better than Rosebud.  Rosebud has gone down hill the last few years. ...in my opinion and I'm not Italian.

Yeah I’ve had Carmines here in NYC and when visiting in DC.. it’s pretty good but I figured I try a local place since I rarely travel to Chicago area..
