Spill at Yonkers
« on: June 21, 2021, 09:30:48 PM »
Rock Lights wedged in the hedge after nearly going down. Zeron thrown to ground and Stratton unseated on Lets Have Another.  Of course Joe B was abusing 11 year old Lachie McGuire and didnt let Dealt A Winner clear and why is that former FFA pacer and Cane champ racing at this shithole for Burke.

Jo and Jen Bo should be banned for mistreating these horses.

How dare you question the savior's, Jeff Gural's, wisdom. He only wants the best and clean racing. He has deemed that Jenny da Ho, and Joey the chimp boy, along with the whole Bongiorno family, are of the highest caliber. You owe the savior an apology immediately, along with 10 "Hail Jeff's".

    Sincerely, Silent One

I told you spills were going to start happening a lot. combination of these morons pushing drugged horses too much, a bunch of inexperienced dickweeds driving and karma. its a recipe for disaster. They are very fortunate it hasnt been worse, except for, of course, incredible shark, may that poor guy rest in peace. very very sad.

Was the track just resurfaced?  Askin for a friend.....

Back in the old times (60s, 70s, 80s, 90s,) were the accidents because they were drugged up or because “accidents happen?” Just curious.

HUB RAIL. NO WHERE TO BAIL OUT. NO WHEEL DISKS HORSES WERE STEPPING INTO THE SPOKES AND GETTING CAUGHT UP. WRECKS WERE A LOT MORE COMMON THEN COMPARED TO TODAY.

The old timers used to tell us always keep the bit in their mouth. If that was taken literally every track would be covered in at least 75 bits a night on an average card. The only thing keeping these clowns who throw the lines at a tired animal from eating more stone dust is the breed is just so much stronger and solid now. And yes add in no hubrail and the other safety precautions we take for granted now. We don't see how many times the hubrail being gone has saved someone's ass. Happens a lot too. But horsemanship has gone out the window equal to how much better the breed has gotten over the decades.
