Plop should start a new forum category.
A category dedicated to the soap opera lives of the horse racing world.
Call it: Horse & Rider, or Breeding Barn, or Hoosier Daddy, or Non-Winners
So for clarification purposes for those of us not familiar with Ohio breeding, can someone connect the dots of these last names?
Are you saying Miller and this Stacy are Mr. and Mrs. as in actually married, a true husband wife team?
It's always been a pet peeve of mine with married couples in horse racing using different last names.
Andy and Julie Miller, Ricky and Jamie Macomber don't hide their marriage from the public.
Now if these people aren't married and are just domestic partners then it's fair game not to disclose.
Relationships change and on the backstretch that can be weekly.

The reason this is important is there should be a way for the betting public to know when a driver is driving a different horse in a race against a family horse.
Their relationship should be noted in the program for full disclosure to the public especially if the driver is driving a chalk against a horse trained by their significant other.
Smolin drove a Phillips chalk and set up the race for Josh Sutton at 17-1 on a horse listed in the name of his baby's momma and trained by his mother.

So this shit does happen.
