FREEHOLD SIMULCASTING
« on: October 17, 2020, 12:44:18 PM »
Put on Freehold.  How in the world in this day and age can they have such a bad video signal. Then to top it off the audio has a constant buzzing noise to drive you nuts. I shut if off. I'm sure others have too. How is this accepted?

On the contrary, Freehold is on the cutting edge technologically. They have all results meticulously stored, and available on microfiche, and replays conveniently ready for viewing on Betamax.
Next I suppose you'll criticize the waterwheel that powers the paddock lights.

the only things missing are horses pulling the drag. chalkboard for odds. and would be very nice if they built a trolley line so we can get to the track to watch those buggy races. maybe they could upgade to the real cutting edge tech to get their results out. they could hook onto the telegraph line.  i love those new betting slips. a different window for each color ticket.

  • Calhoun: Trigger, $25k/$500per week. Sounds great. IMO, you have 2 best options. 1) 100% of play on certain CarryOvers.  Pick-5 Carryovers are best. Pro is Near EV or +EV. Con is it's a ton of work in 1 day at worst or 3/4 days at best. But $500 gets you a lot of coverage. ..2) Focus 100% on one track, WITHOUT a lot of ship Ins. Woodbine, Remington, SoCal and Texas fit. WDB and Rem closed/closing. Whichever you choose, you need to know every single horse. You MUST have access to workout videos. You need to learn trainers. Good Luck
