i agree - and then uild it up somewhat again fir closing night...i dont understand their thinking...or just continue to let it go...unlikely it would ever be hit as a single ticket anyway...grow it even more

way to long
I can see not having it live the night before mandatory so people can start handicapping knowing it is going to be there
but this long is ridiculous

for guys like you who play it regularly...i think its completely unfair to suspend the bet...youve chased it this long - you should have the opportunity to continue to chase it...

any type of jackpot bet should continue. the only time it should be paid is if its hit, or on closing day. i could see suspending it just for one day before closing day if not hit.  that would be only so everyone can have a full day to handicap the jackpot. to end it now a month ahead is pure crap.

i wonder if that's a decision someone at pocono can just make on their own?? or does that have to be approved by the state racing commission or the state racing board or whoever runs pennsylvania racing??

most states, if not all have to approve changes in bets unless it is written into the rules of a bet. my guess is pocono just went ahead without getting permission. cant wait to see what happens.
