Same thing happened to us 2 yrs. ago!!  Also, Phillips missed the deadline for the Aged Pace for the General!!  You had to enter a week ago Tuesday, for this Friday's race!!  Argued with the race secretary to no avail!!  Only 8 horses entered for$76000, I'll bet there will be a couple more scratches!!  Totally idiotic rule to close the entries that far in advance!

The horse had 2 bad races early, since then has not been beat by more than 1 1/2 lengths since July 31.  He tries every time!!

We got 2 more stake races, Thursday, Oct. 22, $50000 Circle City.  October 31, $60000 Pegasus, will give him 15 races or the year!!  Brett rests him up a couple months, then we will see if he fits in anything for next year!!  He is pretty lightly raced, only 15 lifetime starts up to this point!  He has been good to us, was a nice yearling purchase for $15000!!
