one of my real favrites back when only 8 NL teams and us kids could see all the real stars come thru. 

AND, there were some bad trades over the years  -  Sadecki for Cepada  /  Robby for Milty Papoose - but, one of the stinkers of all times  =  Ernie Broglio for Lou Brock.  the Cards pulled down the cubbies pants on that one

Lou turned the 68 world series around when he did not slide in tag up from 3rd. Out at plate. Kept mickey in game to bat next inning. Hr . Tigers win then on to setis win. Rest in peace lou and Al K
