I was an ISOBA member but got screwed by Ed Teefey and his good friend John Cisna.  I had horses staked for ISOBA races that never happened because John Cisna took thousands of dollars from the Association under Ed's watch.  Ed Teefey was president at the time so I feel that he's partly responsible for the theft.  What brings this up now is that Ed Teefey is planning on being IHHA president.  He has his flunkies running around the back stretch trying to line up votes so that he can be president.  He bankrupted one Illinois horseman's Association and now he has his eyes on another one.  What makes it especially easy for Ed (according to the IHHA website) is that each year, he usually misses more than half of the monthly meetings so his time commitment is minimal. He shouldn't even be on the IHHA Board.  STOP ED TEEFEY!!!!!!

Ed has retired from the bank I will agree with you he misses way too many meetings to be President. However if his retirement leads to him being present at meetings and on top of the harness situation which is going to be a uphill battle...if and when Arlington pulls out before 2021 season. Dave Mac was treated in a bad matter for his job as president. I saw Dave hold his own plus give back in front of IL board members, thoroughbred lobbyist, and track owners many times. Which is probably why they hired him a few years ago. Whether Dave had faults he was very intelligent. Tony S on the other hand a waste of a good salary. I wonder how Ed would handle the IL board?
