Have no idea what the stats are and am to lazzy to look. But, what I've watched they seem to get away horrible. I liked the outside post better.

At half miles, they don't seem to win but do run in the triple a lot. Here, it looks like a lot are in for quasi training miles.

That didn't look good. Horse can tangled in the wheels of the guy in front of it and got its legs swept from underneath it. MacDonald got dumped, stepped on and hit with the bike. still in delay.

J Mac is conscious and being attended to by paramedics on the track before going to a medical facility. All others are ok. J. Mac and the Greek are off the rest of their drives.

Is there any way to find equipment changes for last nights races at Mohawk?

Accident Sends MacDonald To Hospital
Published: August 1, 2020 11:29 pm ET

An accident in the fifth race on Saturday (Aug. 1) at Woodbine Mohawk Park caused driver James Macdonald to be taken to hospital.

The incident occurred at the top of the stretch when 3-5 favourite Best In Show, first over while edging to the lead, jumped and veered into Highlandbeachlove r. Highlandbeachlove r jolted inside, causing Sports Column (driven by James Macdonald) to trip over a wheel and go down. Yacht Seelster and Tyga Hanover raced gapped from the rest of the field into the stretch and also went down over Sports Column.

Reports indicate that Chris Christoforou, driving Yacht Seelster, managed to walk off the track but he did book off his remaining drives. Filion, behind Tyga Hanover, stayed in the sulky and got Tyga Hanover back on his feet. MacDonald was taken to hospital with a possible concussion and broken collarbone.

All horses walked away okay with only minor cuts and bruises.

Trot Insider will provide updates on the drivers' health when it becomes available.

Great news that no drivers or horses were seriously injured.
That looked bad for Macdonald when he got plowed under by the gapped horses he went down in front of.
