I'm sure he trains some but.

More of just a business man but its a win win for him and assistants.  Assistant trainers are who do the work and get paid and don't have to deal with much of the hassle with owners.  Just report information to Burke and let him deal with it.  For assistants probably to much hassle to try and "make it" on their own.

His stable earned over 20 million for the third or fourth year in a row not including gambling. His operation is in the black.

I know you wrote not including gambling but
I find it difficult to believe that Burke needs to gamble on top of his 5% fees, daily training bills and owning part of these horses..

Try again. Mark Weaver is a huge gambler.

Well you said Burke , not anything about his owners being a gambler which I guess is very possible as most owners I knew liked placing a bet.. Either way Burke and his group invest a ton in Good horses so they are gonna win much more than most ..

They crush condition sheets everywhere with box stuffs full of horses meant to be GC types.

Admittedly,  he knows how to get all the factors working in his favor but don't forget that he has had multiple positives all of which he has beaten!  Wonder what the next environmental contaminant will be?

Like I've ssied before, i have seen this guy in action. He works his ass off and never stops. Hes also intelligent. He goes by the philosophy that my grandpa once told me...if you want to be successful surround yourself with successful people. Burke definitely does that.

Yes and yes. Weaver was professional gambler before he got into horses. Still gives him the same rush.
