Roger Welch is loaded but can't spend any money without his wife's permission. I just got done talking with a couple horseman here at Hoosier . Was told he was belittled by Joe Anderson back in the day .
I didn't think Joe Anderson was broke however and Ryan worked in a warehouse.
I still remember my uncle asking Paul Blumenfiend how much he charged a day in 2007 . Blumenfield said " I don't get out of bed for less then 70 a day !!!!!

You know who I remember NOT losing money?

Erv Miller and Joe Anderson!

Eric Ledford lost over $460,000!

Andy and Julie lost about $15,000.

Erv told me at the time he wasn't comfortable with what the guy was claiming and he advised Andy to not invest.

But many horsemen at Balmoral took the bait.

They all lost every dime they invested.

Why does this matter here?

Because back then it was said to me by more than one prominent horseman that Roger lost the most.

Roger supposedly lost One Million Dollars!

Thats a huge financial hit to recover from.

Plus it shows how much he had available to invest.
