AND JUST LIKE HORSEMEN WHO CHEAT THE BETTORS BY STIFFING, CONTRACTS ARE MADE TO BE BROKEN

ADDITION BY SUBTRACTION.  MAYBE THEY CAN JOIN IN ON A PROTEST AND SET THE PLACE ON FIRE.

They have gone to a local architectural firm and structural engineering company about a redesign as a concert venue . They will hold Faraldo off .

It's a depressed county. Nobody is there to go to a concert. Winters are extremely harsh. Bethel Woods is 8 miles up the road and they only have about 20 shows per year to a very small crowd and the acts were all at their peak about 30 to 40 years ago. Another losing proposition for sure.

I don't believe anyone could raise a dime for a project like that.

place has been a dump for years. horsemen never got a decent cut of the tracks revenue. horsemen had to supplement with some questionable races. they all together put the nails in the coffin.

Hasnt he wanted to see  Monti close for years?
Maybe the horsemen should get a different lawyer???
Of course he wants Monticello closed. He can't justify his demand for huge purses at Yonkers when a rinky dink track like Monty with a bunch of 4 claimers handles as much as Yonkers yet has purses 1/5th that of Yonkers.

The owners want to go in a different direction. They want to try a concert venue combined with some kind of theme park is the word . Maybe they ditch the casino as well 🤷🏼‍♂️

Please stop with the concert venue bull shit. Bethel Woods is 10 miles from there.

and the upstairs mini golf course. Sad what a complete and utter shithole it has been over the past 25 plus years.
