Thursday handle at Scioto topped 2 million --- Never thought I would say those words. This was aided in part from the early pick 4 not getting hit. With a 12k rollover, the late pick 4 had over $70k new money bet into it and the 10th race over all did $217k.

There is plenty of 'old' interest in harness racing and the big pools are attractive. But not when there are a dozen tracks on a weekend night that is vying for the 'old' money still left in the game.

I do like Scioto switching Saturday racing to Sunday nights to try and hold onto the wagering money that is out there looking for action.
