April 8th - "It is our hope that we may be able to resume live racing at The Meadowlands on May 1, 2020. That is of course contingent on many things, most of which we do not control."

May 16th -  Gural said he has made an official proposal to the state to let him open the Meadowlands June 5 without fans allowed in the building and, though he has yet to receive an answer, he said he was optimistic the state would grant the request.

No Promises or Proclamations just him saying that he is trying.

Don’t look Good . Maybe a July opening there . Here in New Jersey the Governor has opened everything but racetracks , casinos , malls and movie theaters. He even reconsidered and now is allowing all graduations to take place . Guess the savior pissed off or on the Governor

In answering a question at today's press conference, Governor Murphy said it was "too early to tell" in regards to having fans at the track. He added that he hopes racing returns without fans "sooner rather than later" in New Jersey.
