That really sucks. They must be worried about being sued, it's always that.
with all the courts closed it would take months to just get a lawsuit filed. and years before it would be heard.

serious shit..and these people and animals apparently on the clock....

Legal action does seem a start.

Is ot possible anyone could play on gulfstream stronach heartstrings?  Harness link had great story from dein spriggsIf horsemen there could get story into print and tv asap, might get support.....would pompano mgmt allow media on grounds?   Press would help..if you could get them there...people everywhere are shut in..they would see story.
Any animal rescues down there who could drum up support in media?
Any guesses how much it would $$$ to buy 3-4 more months on pompano property?..to save everyone and everything.

They may have a team of lawyers suggesting they never hafta let horses back in, or pay into the purse accounts either.  Feds prove cheating has occured on widespread sale...it could BE OVER?

My trainer told me the horsemen can stay until the places they want to go to will open.
Applies to Hoosier too.
Bruce Ranger’s cousin is the head of racing operations, and he is pro horsemen.   tmbz1

He heard the deal applies to Hoosier too, even though Harrah’s owns Hoosier and Eldorado owns Pompano.
We’ll see.

Where do all the people who lost jobs in every industry go?  Horse racing really isn’t important to the over all economy, this period of time will prove that.  If it is “your investment”.....welcome to the world of poor investments everywhere.  If it’s your livelihood, just like a restaurant owner, times are gonna suck.  Stop whining Lucdork, lots of people got problems right now.  You just got two, car sales gonna drop and horse business gonna tank.  This will be around 6+ months—-tough shit.

They took down this post. Something must have changed

HOOSIERPARK HAS CHANGED ITS MIND HORSES AND GROOMS CAN STAY AND CONTINUE TO TRAIN

 tmbz1
After meetings throughout the late evening on Friday, Hoosier Park's backstretch will remain open to horses and horsemen. Earlier on Friday Hoosier Park and its sister track, Indiana Grand, announced their backstretches would be closed in 14 days and horsemen and horses must leave the premises.

"It's really about doing the right thing right now, and we had very good talks last night that got this reversed," said Joe Putnam, president of the Indiana Standardbred Association president, about the backstretch at Hoosier Park.

Putnam said there are 163 horses on the grounds and 10 people in backstretch living quarters.

"They won't be allowing anyone else to ship in right now, but the people and horses who are there right now don't have to leave," added Putnam. (Harnessracing.com)
