We were notified today that SOA President Joe Faraldo has been tested and confirmed negative for COVID-19. He is currently at home recovering from an illness that has now been confirmed as unrelated to COVID-19. We wish him a speedy recovery.
All connected thick as thieves.1) Banca and Allard at same farm-train work together-v.close friends and also with Nick F. Joe F and John Brennan.Nick Joe and John-make sure that these two trainers are ahead of the game and receive inside info that they are privy to.2) Allard-strolls into paddock last Thursday-none of his horses racing-yet allowed into paddock and walked around like he was at a horse auction-inspecting his future purchases(claims).Buddy Nick has no problems with Allard using the paddock inspecting other peoples horses-while racing none of his own. JB thinks this is great.Security non existent.3) Joe makes sure there is NO out of Competition testing done at any farm in NY-especially at his buddy's Rene and Richy Rich farm-this despite about 90% of his constituents for it. Public-100%4) If any investigator were to come to farm-buddy Nick or J.B would IMHO notify Rene and Richy-faster than a speeding bullet.5) Buddy Joe-who has horses with these 2 trainers(conflict of interest by anyones standards)-is the Champion of all time with the draw at Yonkers--16 out of 17 starts he drew the 1 or 2 hole-and has had even more inside posts in the amateur trots-where he is out in front of everyone else and assigns himself inside posts. He also manages to get international trips to Europe every year for free-even though his ability to drive-is vastly inferior to 99% of the folks there.6)Rene is racing the first two of his new claims Thursday-has two inside posts(one with rail) buddy Richy also drew very well.With their kind of connection-is it any wonder that Allard and Banca do well at Yonkers and will keep claiming??IMHO--if left unchecked-they will monopolize racing there-and trample any vestige of integrity-into the ground.Because you see--a monopoly in any business-stifles competition-and in this case the sport of Harness Racing at Yonkers-will go down the tubes faster-because Allard and Banca horses will dominate-taking the leading drivers,drawing inside posts,stifling betting/competition thereby killing any interest left.
