Pompano last race tonite
« on: November 18, 2019, 08:32:26 PM »
Looking at Ingraham driving for Blood on Doo Wop Hanover but concerned that Petrelli may load up unreadytorock with same special juice she used on mcjager last night.  If so, no one will one, not even nihilator in his prime will have a chance.

Doo Wop lays over the field, even from the 9 hole.

I agree, but nothing lays over the Petrelli juice.  Did you see mcjager last night?

Racing late August here at Scarborough in TRK <62 conditions, Mcj tied the track record of 1:52.3, winning by 30+ lengths.  No shame with the Petrellis!

1:52.1 last night.  Opened up 10 on the far turn.  Parquet couldn't keep the horse on the pylons, had a hard time staying in the bike.  8-1

Ingraham is a human anchor. Horse wins by daylights with a competent drive.

Pompano has no black box and they only take blood on the winner! Petrelli's secret has always been arm and hammer! A box of baking soda is still difficult to beat!

What difference does lactic acid buildup make if the dead lame horse wont run through pain?

Admittedly, Ingraham is getting older, but he is far from an anchor.  He never was great at getting a horse away from the gate, but could definitely bring one home and get up,at the wire.  Has always been a great double digit win driver, especially if speed favorites were contested early.

i agree, david can still drive a horse. at pomp after wally, david is pretty much better than the rest. he also drives his own stock, much of them low level who need to be in the low levels to win. so if he was strictly a catch driver i believe his numbers would be better. no problem betting him.
