Great racing today at cumberland. The guys were really going at it. 3 wide to the quarter a few times. The announcer is terrible. He was kissing Timmons as all day. It was bumkissing above and beyond the call of duty. Should be a great week.

agree on announcer, just as bas as johnson as far as calling the correct horses. racing was great. lots of going at it. hope the week continues like today. bo and son still doing well, like them or not. losing some of the best drivers to the ridge on monday. lets all dive in and help the handle.

2nd racing day was good competitive racing. small crowd but still a good day at the fair. seemed to me, formfull but the betting choices on the board seemed to not do so well. some wire to wire some off the pace. track seems very fair to all types. big 11 race card tuesday.

great open on saturday at the fair. at least 3 have a good shot at winning, possibly a track record. jj jet with drew could spring the mild upset over opus and ronnie c.

I'm looking for a track record. I like opus today. Kevin will be gunning early. Great racing today and tomorrow is a fun day if the announcer doesn't ruin it. Then fryeburg and the steaks finals on October 12. Lots of great racing.

I see one of the horses in the non-betting stakes race (or steaks as we call it here on Plop) was scratched for quarantine. Anyone know what's up with that?

bruce drives more and more. as a starter he is great, one of the better ones i have seen. i guess his back is better and he is enjoying driving. i do wonder though how you can be a starter and drive at the same track. seems to me i remember hank feno not being able to train horses in maine because he was announcing at scarborough. i guess things change. mike cushing can announce and train.

I actually bet on a horse named Miss Wobbles today. Maybe the worst name possible for a race horse. I got what I deserved. Somebody, shoot me.
