Jug attendance down nearly 25% in last 5 years. Purse is down also. Race does not attract all the top colts like it once did. Half mile racing sucks. The draw has become more important than the actual race. And on a side note, why the fuck do people claim the jug is one of the most important races in the sport yet they run it on a Thursday afternoon. I hear the Kentucky Derby is being moved to Tuesday and the Super Bowl is being moved to Wednesday morning.
