i have said this so many times.    oxford casino had to buy the track in order to be a racino. yet the long 4 day meet at the fair has gone bye bye. why do they get to have the casino?  just a shame. by far the best racing surface in new england but no races.

the oxford track might not be dead yet. if scarborough ever closes the casino might have to step up and run a meet there.its a really nice track. it needs a grandstand.

Been hearing Scarborough gonna close from you guys for a couple of years

what’s the real deal?

Bangor is safe

can these fairs send out a signal that can be picked up by the ADWs or is that asking too much from them  ?

this was going to be the last year for scarborough but then the downs was listed as a venue for sports gambling on the bill that passed but the governor hasnt signed yet. we will probably know by january what will happen to the bill. so the downs definitely wont close with that on the table.

Scarborough isn’t even willing to send theirs out so I wouldn’t expect the fair tracks to do so.

fairs and scarborough should all send signal out as many places as possible. they also need to use a real system. trying what they are doing is a waste. going to a maine otb and the signal from these places is down more than actually on the screen. the live handle was better at scarborough when it used to go out to a few places.    oxford definately needs a grandstand. also needed to return to the side it was originaly on. the finish should have the sun behind. watching a late race from oxford the sun was right in your eyes. first few years the finish was on the opposite side. near the paddock. real bathrooms are needed too.

OXFORD will never be anything-its over
the people running it are a big
part of the problem.
they know a horse has 4 legs past that
they know NOTHING
It wont change if ever unless those people
running it are REMOVED. How can they be removed
wen the family runs it? good question?
