Had one try... had a horse with a trainer and he was not doing well. A common friend came to me with an offer and then told me it was the trainer who wanted the horse. I pulled the horse, Took him off all the medications the trainer had him on. Trained him myself a couple weeks, he win 3 in a row and I sold him for 4x what the trainer offered , through 2 nd party.  The horse went on and did well for new owner.  Live and learn.

Yeah, uhhh, I think the trick is to cheat better than the people cheating you.  I know my trainer fucks me on bills but he also knows when it's go time at a square price and he's right 90% of the time.  So he fucks me, and then we both fuck you poor bastards who actually think most harness races are on the level.
