Has to be. Blake raced rats for years on his Dad’s dime, then got hooked up with Ellen, I mean Casie, and all of a sudden he’s got a barn full, buys yearlings, has drones and satellite stables and Courtly Choice. Give me a break. Where there’s smoke there’s usually fire.

Unlike Blake, Jeff is a very astute, lifelong horse trainer. He’s a student of the game, the real deal. He doesn’t need anyone’s help, nor is he dumb enough to compromise his livelihood and that of his family over that bipolar cancer Marks, who trouble just follows around.

Amen to that.....he might have made a lot of big mistakes but you cant take away the fact that he has an ability to take a horse, find out its problems, fix them and make the horse go and I can say with confidence it is second to none in the game. What a true (waste) of natural ability.

Jeff couldn't win a 1 horse race for a couple years !! Then he starts winning and his horses like Downtown Bus go from bad grass rooter to top end stakes horse! All at the he same time the Dowse horses show up in his barn. Coincidence?
