banded vs banned
« on: May 05, 2019, 11:08:38 PM »
once and for all I am going to clarify for all, its just to painful to continually read
banded means marked with bands, a synonym is striped
that hawk has a banded tail

the word I think you want to and should use is banned
banned means to forbid, a synonym is prohibit or outlaw
the use of the whip is banned

see that is not so hard, sixth grade english

And “to” is generally a preposition as in, “I am going to the track,” or part of an infinitive where a verb is converted to a noun form as in, “I like to bet.”  When you say, “to painful,” what you really mean is “too painful” where “too” indicates excessively or too much.  Sixth grade English is not always easy!

For the one millionth time and once and for all, the past pluperfect participle of prohibiting some idiot from posting on this worthless forum is "banded."  It comes from the Latin, "pigsezbandis" which means "to band an idiot."  So its "banded" as in "Pork Chop is lax in his duties because this idiot Brown Lug should be banded."  Until next time, darlings......... ...HEIL HITLER!!

Exactly...too modifies the adverb as in "My cock is too big"...is being the verb, big being the adverb, and cock being the noun.
