Freehold Announces Purse Increase
« on: March 16, 2019, 02:09:27 PM »
Freehold, NJ—- Freehold Raceway announced today that effective March 22, 2019 purses will increase by 50 percent to an average of $60,000 per day. The increase is possible due to a recently approved purse subsidy which will add an additional $1.6 million to overnight purses at Freehold this year.
According to Freehold General Manager Howard Bruno, “In anticipation of receiving the additional funding, purses across all classes will increase by 50 percent.  The increase will be reflected in the new condition sheet being released today (March 16).”
