thanks for the info...6 out of 10k is pretty good. I would guess in the US it is about 800 out of 10k at the very least. The drug trainers have completely ruined the sport for any 'newbie" gambler

If Dexamethasone is a "drug trainer" thing, then all trainers are druggers.  This is the dumbest positive I ever heard of.......and I can't stand Surick.   But this is stupid.

are you kidding me? almost every track here has at least three to five gassers on Every card! It would be closer to 30% around here! IMO, they haven't tested 18K worth of horses here lifetime!

The Hong Kong Jockey Club runs 700 races per season between their two tracks Sha Tin and Happy Valley. They test 18,000 samples not including pre-race tests which all horses are pre-race tested. In the last 10 years 6 of every 10,000 samples have resulted in a positive test which amounts to 0.06 which is the lowest in the world. This is the way racing should be run. More racing as it is here in North America proves we here have created this cheating culture and the future is bleak.

Not coincidentally, they have the highest handle in the world. Jockeys also get hefty bans for lack of effort. David Flores got a year for a ride with effort that I see almost worse than every day over here.

Children, please.  We already have one asswipe clown on this worthless forum named Hammer Head who pulls "facts" out of his ass in his attention-starved attempt to show us how smart he is.  Jerkoff.

Don't speculate.  Go straight to the source.  Here's the NJRC results for 2017:

Total Results for 2017
25,958 samples collected
(Standardbred samples: 20,639)
(Thoroughbred samples: 5,319)
17 positives

And of those 17 positives, some were for lasix, bute, robaxin and even one for scopalamine. You can find the info on the annual report for NJRC.  You can do it for most any state.  So for retards like Jewffrey, ATC and Hammer Head who think that the answer is to hire Jackie Chan's Meth Lab in Hong Kong to solve everything, think again.  Da shit is just a made up bogeyman by know-nothing cocksuckers like Gural.  Until next time, laddies........HE IL HITLER!!

If you think the 17 positive tests is a true representation of drugs being used, you are a fool. It is not the few part per billion overage on therapeutic meds being detected . It is the many others that don't test.
The system has always had a major floor. You can not test for something you can not identify. So, it takes a good amount of time using a substance before it is identified and a test is developed . It has been a ct and mouse game from the day of the first test.

yo, yo, The Distorter,

You and LiceMan are making the classic bogeyman argument.  In the past 50 years, what drugs were unknown that were later outed?  The only ones I can think of are Lasix and elephant juice.  There was a great thoroughbred trainer named Bobby Frankel who got fat using lasix.  And some guys had the elephant juice for a while but they got busted because of their big mouths and intercepted deliveries.  Same with EPO.  Nowadays, with peptide testing and levels of detection in the low picograms (one trillionth of a gram) they can "see" most everything.  And logically, if we listen to all the idiots on this worthless forum such as that douche clown, Hammer Head, everybody is cheating from Plainridge to Pompano and from The Swamp to Cal Expo.  Are we to believe that everyone is using the same da shit and in the same way?  Gimme a break.  Bottom line: da shit is a fantasy.  Now let us join hands and pray:  Dear God, please fuck Jewffrey Gural.  Amen.   Until next time, darlings......... ......HEIL HITLER!!
