2YO Open Trot Champlain Divisions Friday @ MOH

Takter is overbet in this series.  Over the preceding 6 years, there have been 13 divisions and Takter won 4 of the 13, but the odds were .20, .60,  .70 and .80 to 1.  The 2 year old colt trot divisions seem to hold much more form than the 3 other 2YO series, so there are far fewer good payoffs with these.  Hudson River looks solid, but the 2/1 ML is fantasy.  Hudson River will likely add another .20 or .40 to the 4 other odds on payoffs for Team Takter.

Okeanos lucked out, getting into the weakest of the 3 divisions.  In his division, he has the best numbers, but wouldn’t in the other two divisions.  He should be better than the ML favorite, Royal Rob. The Lindy Farms trotters usually start excelling when they come up to Canada, so Refi could step up and challenge Okeanos.  Saver on the Robert Key, Reid, Roy LS - Magical Winner K.  Breaking problems mask talent, and Kadabra babies perform better over time.  Wouldn’t be the first Reid shocker, and Roy sharpens the interest.
