Gabe...great job
« on: August 23, 2018, 07:38:12 PM »
Since it took place at the Red Mile, I'll post it here.

Great job hosting the wiener dog races tonight.  The people had a GREAT time and you helped bring that out of them.  If people have fun at a racetrack, they might actually come back.  And no doubt these people had fun!

Hey, if you grandpas think the newer generations are going to come out to watch Amish races, go dig a hole, crawl in and have someone cover you up. Do you guys have cell phones? Jesus. Wake up. This is what you do now days. Bill O'Donnel and Del Insko aren't here. Mickey Mantle has retired. Just dig your feet in and resist change. And by the way, those big overalls look good on you guys.

Hahahaha- like THAT would ever happen. Judges just want to keep getting those paychecks. AND you wonder WHY new people aren't flocking to the harness tracks? It "appears crooked from the start" .  Whenever I tell anyone that I am interested in harness racing, they tell me I MUST be crazy. Then I hear "It's more fixed than Jai Alai". Been to any good Jai Alai events lately?
