Lazarus is a real nice horse who will win his share of races but he is not on the level of Always B Miki.

Certainly not on that run.  Gingras said he needs work LOL

He got away with an easy 2nd quarter. He should have kept the hammer down. He didn't and got beat fair and square

Didn't some rat named Mel Mariah beat Always be Miki?
Shit does indeed happen, I bet no one on this thread has owned a horse as good as Lazarus. With all the gaps in his schedule, no way Laz can be at peak fitness. Is he as good as his NZ record? Remains to be seen, It did take the best FFA'er to beat him

Takter said Lazarus would undergo a precautionary veterinary check as any horse of his class would in the next few days to ensure he did not pick up a virus travelling from his stables in New Jersey to Canada.
Lazarus will now be aimed at the US$175,000 Hoosier Park Derby in Indiana on September 21

Tetrick a punk giving him a 55.4 half, if Tetrick drives on the race changes as Lazarus had zero pace and only lucked out because of that slow middle half.

Garbage pail racing.
