I personally don't see anything wrong with this...so they are being a bit cute to get the horse there on their biggest night of the year. FA will be a bigger story than anyone in the Gerrity, and with the horse actually getting a bit of national publicity now maybe some T-bred people will make their way over to check him out.

It's not like any race they write him into will automatically be a cakewalk at this point in his career.

when rambling willlie barnstormed around the country at age 14 no one complained. they wanted to see him. on a lesser note a horse named last count who was a star at 2 at foxboro barnstormed in new england at age 14 in claimers and won 26 races that year and drew crowds no one complained. horses know they're near the end but want to race and if sound let them.

It is not in the least bit abusive. The horse is 14. He is half way through his life. Is it abusive for Tom Brady to be playing football?

Ron Burke said he planned a farewell tour for Foiled Again. I think it is fantastic as many fans as possible will get to see Foiled Again especially the ones who have not had that chance previously. 

From what I read, Burke is planing Foiled Again's last race to be New Years Eve at The Meadows. Have fun yelling "abuse" for the rest of the year. Maybe you should give PETA a call.

 Nice to see a race secretary get creative for a change.  Let the others scratch if they don't like the extra attention drawn to the race because of foiled again.  Some are going to complain no matter what.
