my friend todd is in the world series of poker in vegas now. he heard at the book last nite that Maywood park and all the land might be sold to some current Chicago guys and the ex owner of plop who lives in vegas. and no it ain't dan nance from what todd said.

man it would be great to have spring and fall races at Maywood again. who knows? add in a little video poker and some bears bets on sundays and the place might be jumpin like the old days when you had to park at the roller rink or by 9th avenue on a Friday nite. they could even have an express bus from Lincoln park come all the way up north ave. every nite to dump yuppies off for a nigte of the best 1/2 mile racing on earth with a parlay ticket on the sox or cubs too. 

by the way rocco you got to inquire about investing if this flies. put a new corvette on display to raffle off with some hot models showing the car off (or maybe even 5 polekays girls?).

SURPRISED IT STAYED VACANT THIS LONG. NEVER CARED MUCH FOR HALF MILE RACING BUT IT WOUKD HELP ALOT OF THE CHICAGO HORSEMEN TO HAVE HARNESS RACING YEAR ROUND HERE.
