   exactly-that was a very weird move-retakes a 3/1 shot with a 10/1 horse with no business doing that-- then dies at 3/4 pole.

And Stratton  chokes down the favorite to let Allard/Sears into a hole when he was hung out to dry. Favor accomplished-no fine/ no penalty-gamblers get screwed-but Sears/Allard get another race gifted-as if they need it.

Everyone pulled at 5/8 pole horses sitting 4-5 deep in 7 horse field!!

That race should be a template of how NOT to run a race-and where drivers should be hauled in by Judges.

That race set up the way it did mostly because of Stalbaum. He doesn't do the "settle in, sit forever and float out 3rd over" BS, he gets moving early and isn't afraid to race parked out. He caught Sears and Stratton completely by surprise.
