We are into the first couple sire stakes for PA three year olds and a couple GC races. In 2016 buyers fell all over themselves trying to buy MH colts out of nice mares that had delivered stud colts. 22 of them sold for over 100k. That rang the register at 5.0mln. Just 1 of those 22 have made over 100k earning 370k at 2. Just above his price tag and I'm not sure he's been on the racetrack at 3. Most haven't even seen the track or collected anything meaningful in the price earnings dept. Sales night one after another all thought that had the perfect specimen. You have to sell your owner on something? So can we get the worthless USTA to do a where are they know on these perfectly built race horses? How many dumped to the Amish, or any sold for horse meat, or if any of those rich owners keep them for pets?
