I remember about 5 years ago I was sitting with some of Jamieson's owners having a few drinks when along comes Jack Darling and he sits down with us. Well about the 3rd race we're all having a laugh when along comes Carl, he sees us but doesn't come near us and no one says anything. Well for the next 2-3 races it looked like Carl was the target on an old arcade game going back and forth never saying a word so we each put a couple of bucks each on the table and bet on which race Carl would finally say something. Then BOOM he went off around the 8th and told his owners they better make arrangements for their horses because he was going back to his place and taking them out of their stalls and would hitch them to a fence. We all were pissing ourselves laughing but I got Carl to cool down and we all went for a drink later.

i know, surprised more aren't up in arms over this cheap plan to get the woodbine brand in the limelight year round. kind of a wash since everyone seems to enjoy that the racing will be only at mohawk. oops, i meant woobine/mohawk park or is it still raceway.
