Buckeye im going to Marietta Fair on Sunday if the weather holds out. Make sure you say hi Saturday.

Marietta is a nice town on the River.  There's no easy route to get from Columbus to there though.  You can go Interstate 70 to Interstate 77, but it seems like it's out of the way.  Other routes are more direct, but slower.  Do you have a table in the Clubhouse on Saturday night?  Have a great time.  I hope that Jason gives Sydney a great drive for you.

No table in clubhouse  but a fellow plopper is bringing me a folding chair.  i prefer to be outside anyway. Sydney is 7/5 M/L.

With all the craze about Pet Rock as a sire, I've been looking at the Ohio Sires Stakes finals program sheets for tomorrow night.  Pet Rock kids have 4 of the 9 spots in the colt final.  I'd say that's pretty dominant.  But, on the other hand, there are no Pet Rock fillies in the finals for that group.  I have a Pet Rock filly, and it doesn't make me too happy to read that stat.  My filly had illness problems in April that set her back, and she only raced at fairs.  Have any thoughts on why the Pet Rock colts have been dominant, and the fillies not?  The kids, both colts and fillies, all seem to be of middle or smaller size.   It seems like a strange situation.
