Movies relating to horse racing

Watched the greatest horse race gambling movie of all time last night for about the 40th time. Let It Ride. What a classic. But the BEST line of all comes in the Jockey Club room when Trotters wife wants to know why can't they just watch the horses go around the track without betting on them. Trotter tells her "WITHOUT GAMBLING, THERE IS NO HORSE RACING". 
Maybe SOME people in harness racing need to LEARN THAT. OR are they just willing to suck on the teat that's been GIVEN to them?

David Johansen was in that movie....great musician.  As was Terri Garr in the movie as well who had one of her first TV appearances as the desk girl selling flight insurance in the Odd Couple, which is another show with frequent horse racing themes.

Best line was at the end, when the announcer goes Oh My God because the race was so tight, and that guy with all the gold chains on, says where did My God come from

Holy shit.......I hope he got paid off this movie.
